Infant Massage
The Benefits
of Nurturing Touch
Contributes to
growth and development
Helps relieve
gas and the symptoms of colic
Specific techniques help provide relief for baby's tummy discomfort.
Helps baby sleep
better
Nurturing touch relaxes parent and baby. Helping baby relax means an easier
transition from wakefulness to sleep. More rest for baby means more rest
for parent; everyone feels better!
Deepens bonding
and improves communication
Nurturing touch provides a special, focused time that helps parent and
baby get to know each other. It enhances the parent's ability to understand
and nurture.
Makes the world
a better place
Nurturing touch helps to improve a child's self confidence, kindness,
and compassion.
