1. What do you offer to OC Doula's Customers?
I offer birth doula services, Bradley Method Childbirth education classes, and Prenatal and Pediatric Chiropractic Services.

2. Why did you decide to become a doula?
I have always been captivated by birth, my curiosity and passion emerging at a very young age. Health, wellness, and a natural lifestyle have also been a passion of mine, and I became a Doctor of Chiropractic, living and giving the chiropractic lifestyle. I met a colleague who specialized in treating pregnant women and children, and she was also a birth doula. I admired how she created a specialized practice and also provided labor support. I knew at that point that I would model my career after her.

3. What are your hobbies or passions?
My passions involve learning, reading, and reaching for more—more experiences, more knowledge, reaching and achieving new goals. I love being a new Mommy, and learning and experiencing life through the eyes of my baby girl. I love athletic activities, and especially love chasing a little white golf ball all over California’s many golf courses.

4. What is your philosophy about birth?
Birth is beautiful. Empowering. Incredible. Having given birth naturally to my baby girl using the Bradley Method and my incredible doula, Lindsey from OC Doulas, my eyes were opened to this miraculous event. Less interference and more trust in the innate wisdom of a woman’s body will truly bring the right of natural birth to all women.

5. Tell us a little something about your personal life.
Having created a specialty practice where I see pregnant women and children every day, in addition to my doula babies, I truly love my work. When not at work, I love being with my daughter, experiencing life with family and friends.

6. What are your specialties or unique qualities?
As the years go by and I continue with my chiropractic practice, training, educating, and reaching for more knowledge—I am constantly improving my skills. The healing that comes from my hands, from my touch, from my words, and from my presence continues to grow stronger and more keen every day. It is such and honor and a privilege to be invited into one’s birth, to be allowed into such an intimate moment in life. I bring a calmness, an inner peace, that helps to channel positive energy—to birth, to a chiropractic adjustment, and to heal.
